62-year-old man found buried alive, dug up in Bulgaria

NEW: 62-year-old Moldova man discovered after he had been buried alive for four days.

Officers were investigating the death of a 74-year-old woman when they heard muffled noises coming from the ground.

According to officials, they had arrested an 18-year-old relative who allegedly physically attacked the woman.

While officers were investigating, they heard noises coming from the ground near the house.

They began digging and discovered a makeshift ‘grave’ where the man had been held for a whopping four days.

According to the man, he was drinking with the teenager when they got into an argument. The teen assaulted him and buried him in a cellar.

A day after the teen buried the man, he is believed to have killed the woman.

The 18-year-old is facing life in prison.
