Bodkin on Netflix: Father Ted’s Mrs Doyle star makes unexpected cameo | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV [Video]

Bodkin has landed on Netflix with a surprise cameo appearance from Father Ted’s very own Mrs Doyle star in the 11th hour.

True crime podcasters Gilbert (played by Will Forte), Emmy (Robyn Cara) and Dove (Siobhan Cullen) delve into the dark past of the small Irish town of Bodkin for their show.

There were a number of mysterious disappearances years ago and the more research they do on the cold case, the more clues come up on what really happened to them.

Along the way, the trio, along with resident Seamus (David Wilmot), encounter potential suspects who could know what really happened to those who went missing.

It is then in episode five, Peace In Our Time, that their digging leads to a deceptively sweet souvenir shop owner called Bronagh McArdle (Pauline McLynn).
