Penguins defenseman Erik Karlsson had a goal and two assists for Sweden, which closed out the preliminary round with a 6-1 defeat of Slovakia at Ostravar Arena in Vítkovice, Czechia on Tuesday.

Stationed on the second pairing with fellow Penguins defenseman Marcus Pettersson, Karlsson logged 22:03 of ice time on 25 shifts and had a game-high nine shots.
