Eurovision viewers praise Hollywood star Malin Akerman’s hosting skills during second semi-final: ‘Can she host every year?’ [Video]

Eurovision fans praised Malin Akerman for her presenting skills during Thursday night’s semi-final in Malmo, Sweden.

The Hollywood actress, 45, has joined returning host and fan favourite Petra Mede to host this year’s song contest. 

The star, who is from Stockholm but now based in the US, was well received by Eurovision viewers. 

Taking to X/Twitter, fans wrote: ‘Love seeing Malin Akerman on #Eurovision. What a genre star’… ‘Malin is actually shaping up to be a good host.’

Others added: ‘Malik Akerman is impressing me with her French and Italian, let alone her native Swedish’… ‘Can Malin and Petra host every year? They’re both professional, funny (such dry delivery!) and seemingly unflappable.’
