Most memorable high school moment: My most memorable high school moment was when I performed an original song with my school’s choir ensemble. Hearing my song performed live was truly surreal. Currently, I have lost count of how many times I re-watch the performance recording that my mom has on her phone. I am so grateful for my choir!

Most influential teacher: Mrs. Kristen Martinez in Spanish; Confident, selfless, and motivating, Mrs. Martinez knew that the first quality of a leader is to be the first to serve others. Her daily services for her school and students have made me see a strong example of a follower of Christ. Honestly, I could write a seven-page essay in Spanish about how much Mrs. Martinez has inspired me to become a humble yet persistent leader in my daily life.
