LAW and Order has been airing on viewers’ small screens since the early 1990s.

The original crime drama began in September 1990 with the spin-off, Special Victims Unit that same month nine years later.

The NBC series was noted as the longest-running live-action series in American television with Law & Order having 23 seasons and SVU having 25 seasons.

SVU stars such as Mariska Hargitay, 60, (Olivia Benson) and Christopher Meloni, 63, (Elliot Stabler) have been on the show since the beginning.

Since the NBC series has been on for decades, it has introduced some of the biggest names in Hollywood today.
