Sunday marks Mother’s Day—and it’s important to help the mom in your life feel special.
One way to do that is by making her a tasty breakfast. MasterChef winner Kelsey Murphy joined FOX59 Morning News to share a simple way to kick off Mother’s Day with a smile.
She suggests making a brunch board with your mom’s favorites, including things like yogurt, fruit, granola, scrambled eggs, toast and her featured recipe, easy-to-make French toast muffins.

- 1 c whole milk
- 1/4c heavy cream
- 3T sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1T vanilla extract
- 1tsp cinnamon
- 1/2tsp salt
- 10 slices bread (white, brioche, challah, etc), cut into cubes
- 1/3c flour
- 1/4c brown sugar
- 1tsp cinnamon
- 4T salted butter, cubed
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
In large bowl combine milk, cream, sugar, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon and salt and whisk. Add in cubed bread and toss.
