The man charged with murdering a 14-year-old boy during the Hainault sword rampage is a ‘mystic’ who dressed up as Robin Hood to play archery weeks before attack. 

Marcus Arduini Monzo, 36, appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court accused of Daniel’s murder along with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of grievous bodily harm, aggravated burglary, and possession of a bladed article.

Four others were injured during Tuesday’s 22-minute rampage, including a heroic female police officer who almost lost a hand. 

Monzo is an amateur musician and self-described ‘mystic’ who dressed up as Robin Hood for an archery game weeks before the attack.
