Thanks to his operation Michael has had no issues with limping while filming his new historical mini Apple TV mini-series, Franklin.

The Fatal Attraction star portrays Benjamin Franklin, who is world-famous for his electrical experiments in the 18th century.

When it came to taking on the new role, Michael told MensHealth he was “at a point in my life where I’m trying different things” as he noted: “I thought this would be fun. Not to mention, eight months in Paris can’t be terrible. It was the whole combination.”

The star even added his own ideas to the series: “I’m embarrassed to say that I added that,” the Oscar-winning star added, referring to a scene in the series when Benjamin let his flatulence get the better of him due to his ill health.
