Power outages, damage reported across Tennessee Valley [Video]

Numerous power outages, reports of damage and hail have been reported across the Tennessee Valley as we experience strong and severe storms.

Missouri’s Republican Gov. Mike Parson on Thursday signed legislation to once again try to kick Planned Parenthood out of the state’s Medicaid program.

During a signing ceremony at Ozark Empire Fairgrounds in Springfield, Governor Mike Parson signed House Bill 1803 into law. The measure increases the total amount of state funds the state treasurer may invest in the MOBUCK$ program from $800 million to $1.2 billion annually.

The National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) will hold its 32nd annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive on Saturday, May 11 for families facing hunger across the Ozarks.

Strong storms on Wednesday damaged homes and property in the Nixa area.
