Professor T viewers say ‘it can’t be true’ as character is killed off in series finale | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV [Video]

Professor T viewers were left on the edge of their seats in a nail-biting final episode of the ITV series which culminated in the death of one of most-loved characters.

It was earlier revealed in the episode that Marianne Tierney was killed by Leah Vermorel after she discovered she was pregnant with her son Seb’s baby.

After Marianne’s car crashed, in shock flashback scenes, Leah arrived at the scene of the crime and was seen suffocating Marianne to death.

As an unhinged Leah tried to get away, DI Lisa Donckers (played by Emma Naomi) attempted to stop her by standing in the way of the vehicle.

However, the much-loved character was mowed down by car and tragically died in a pool of her own blood.

The tragic death was made even more sad as Lisa had just got engaged to Dan Winters (played by Barney White).

Dan rushed to the scene …
