ROBERTO LOPES reckons doing five-in-a-row will be the hardest one yet – with one of the reasons being there are five title challengers. 

Four-in-a-row champions Shamrock Rovers face managerless St Patrick’s Athletic in Tallaght tomorrow night sitting third in the table and just three points off leaders Shelbourne.

Given they are in that position despite having, at times, ten stars out injured, the Hoops remain favourites to win an unprecedented fifth title in a row. 

But Lopes pointed to Monday’s 3-1 loss to Waterford as evidence that no one can take anything for granted. 

And the unpredictable results this season where no team has won at least half their games, Lopes believes this year is the toughest yet with more genuine contenders than ever.
