SPOKANE, Wash. – A Spokane man was aboard an Air France flight from Paris to Seattle that required an emergency landing in northern Canada on Tuesday night.
According to KIRO 7, the emergency landing was due to passengers reporting the smell of burning. The flight landed in the small town of Nunavut and spent several hours there before making it back to Seattle.
Joe Skoog, a Spokane resident, was aboard the Air France flight and returned home safely to the Lilac City on Wednesday night.
